Call for proposals

The Cyber Summit organizers are now accepting talk proposals for Cyber Summit 2026.

This year, our program focuses on moving from ideas to impact, showcasing real-world action across Western Canada’s digital landscape.

To ensure a high-quality, balanced program that delivers actionable value to our attendees, all talk proposals will be reviewed by our Cyber Summit Review Committee. This group — comprised of six representatives from Cybera, MRnet, and SRNET member organizations — will evaluate submissions for:

  • Alignment with the 2026 theme: Mission Actionable
  • Relevance and value to the Cyber Summit audience
  • Originality and insight
  • Clarity of proposal
  • Speaker expertise and engagement

Session applications are due July 8, 2026. The Cyber Summit team will notify applicants regarding your application status by August 31, 2026.

Standard Cyber Summit sessions run approximately 30 minutes, including five minutes of introductions/remarks by Summit hosts, the presentation/talk, and Q&A time with the audience.

We strongly encourage interactive sessions that invite audience participation.
